- Join the project team on May 2nd 2019 at the Queensland Conservatorium Research Centre in Brisbane for the "Listening to Country: Yarning and Listening Event". The event will include sharing the outcomes from the project, and listening to the work we created. Also joining us will be visiting scholar Dr Brenda Morrison, Social Psychologist and Director of the Centre for Restorative Justice at Simon Fraser University, Canada. Brenda will share some of her work using arts-based approaches with First Nations women involved in the justice system. We hope that the evening will invite dialogue and sharing around the potential of using arts-based methods and Indigenous knowledges in transforming the justice system. This is a free event, please RSVP here.
- On May 10th 2019, the project team will be visiting Townsville and will host a public event with Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Services (TAIHS). Download the flyer for further information here.
- In June 2019, the final immersive audio installation will be showcased at the 2019 Lowitja Institute International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing conference conference in Darwin, June 18-20. Visit the conference website for further information.
